Artesia 1875-1975
Albert O. Little was a cornerstone of our community—a local business owner, former president and manager of the Artesia Chamber of Commerce, and former Community Development Officer and City Photographer from 1969 until his passing in 1987. Fondly known as “Mr. Artesia,” he devoted the final decades of his life to capturing the rich history of Artesia through photos and narratives.
After his passing, his daughter, Veronica Little Bloomfield, and granddaughter, Veronica Elizabeth Bloomfield, compiled his extensive archives into a pictorial history titled “Artesia: 1875-1975.” This book offers a glimpse into our town’s past, filled with vivid images and stories.
