Bell Tower

At the Artesia Historical Society, we proudly safeguard the 1875 bell which was original housed in the bell tower at the Artesia Grammar School. As our oldest artifact, the bell documents the beginning of Artesia as a municipality and deserves to be seen and heard by all. Our vision is to construct a replica of the first school’s Bell Tower at the Artesia Historic District.

Your donation will make it possible to bring this piece of history to life and share the sound of 1885 with future generations. Join us in this special project and help us ring in the past!

Bus Fund Scholarship

The Artesia Historical Society proudly offers educational tours in alignment with the California State Standards, tailored for third-grade students in our community, including ABCUSD, Our Lady of Fatima School and Valley Christian Elementary School. Admission is free, ensuring every student has the chance to learn and explore.

While some schools are close enough to walk to our museums, others require bus transportation. To ensure every student can safely attend, we’ve established the Bus ScholarshipFund.

Help give every student the opportunity to discover our community’s history. Your donation makes a difference!

Memory Bricks

The Artesia Historical invites you to purchase a brick to be set in the landscape of the Artesia Historic District. This is a unique opportunity to show your support for our efforts to preserve the history of Artesia for many generations to come.

Your personalized brick will be a lasting tribute, celebrating your commitment to our community’s heritage.
