The Veteran’s Project, launched in 2017, began with a heartfelt tribute to Artesia area veterans and active military personnel at our annual Gala. Since its inception, we have identified over 500 individuals from the greater Artesia area who have served in the US military, spanning conflicts from the American Civil War, to the Spanish American War, World Wars I and II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and recent Middle East engagements.
This ongoing project aims to honor and document the service of all veterans and active military members from our community. We warmly invite anyone with information about Artesia residents who have served or are currently serving to reach out.
